Anambra State governorship election is taking place today, Saturday, November 8, 2025.
As of the current time (late evening, WAT), the collation of results at the polling unit level is ongoing, and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has not yet released the complete or final official results for the entire state.
However, media reports and updates from the field are providing initial indications of the results from some individual polling units:

Results have started trickling in across various polling units in the Anambra governorship election held today, November 8, 2025.
Notable Polling Unit Wins for Soludo (APGA):
Candidate's Polling Unit Win: Governor Soludo won his own polling unit in Isuofia, Aguata LGA, after casting his vote earlier in the day.
Victory Over Major Opponent: Initial reports indicate that Prof. Soludo also won the polling unit of a major opposition candidate, Dr. George Moghalu of the Labour Party (LP). The LP candidate lost his polling unit to the APGA flagbearer.
Overall Collation Status:
INEC is utilizing the Result Viewing Portal (IReV), and as of the most recent updates, the commission has uploaded a significant percentage (nearly 70%) of results from the total 5,720 polling units to the portal.
Results are still being collated at the Ward and Local Government levels, and a comprehensive breakdown of all polling units won by Soludo and other candidates is not yet publicly available as the process is still live.
The final declaration of the winner will be made by the INEC Returning Officer once the collation of all results from the 21 Local Government Areas is complete.
